About HIBM Research Group (HRG)HIBM Research Group (HRG) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public benefit corporation, which was organized in 2001 by a group of scientists, doctors, and patients, with the main purpose of engaging in medical research regarding hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathies (hIBM).HRG employees and volunteers are our most valued resource, and are encouraged to achieve excellence in their field on a daily basis. Additionally, HRG believes teamwork and dedication are the keys to success, and sharing of knowledge and skills are the focal point of these keys. Our organization offers biomedical research sample distribution, patient coordination, research development services, and professional biomedical consultation for various fields of biomedical research. Our primary focus currently includes molecular biology, sialobiology, and genetics. We work in affiliation with various universities and non-profit research groups. Over the past few years we have been able to successfully form a network of interested researchers and physicians.
