Mouse Genotyping

An appropriate animal model of IBM2 can help to significantly speed up testing of various scientific hypotheses towards developing an effective treatment. Thus, over the past few years, we have worked hard to generate a mouse model for IBM2.  Mouse was chosen because it is the most widely used model for human disease, there exists vast knowledge and experience on mouse models by scientists throughout the world, and the relative ease of genetic manipulation in the mouse.

Currently, we offer and easy genotyping kit which can distinguish wildtype, heterozygous, and homozygous GNE-M712T locus.
